IF: three brothers founded a fashion store in New York which also impressed Andy Warhol.

The IF boutique was founded in 1978 in New York and can be found in the Soho district. The idea is of three brothers Jeannette Bird, Johnny Farah and Soha Farah, who opened the store in one of New York's most famous neighborhoods, the cultural epicenter of the city.

Andy Warhol was so impressed by the audacious style of the three brothers and of the store and dedicated it for free the entire back page of his Interview magazine for an entire year. The style of the store IF perfectly combines avantgarde and old style.

IF is known for being the first in New York to sell designer collections such as Yohji Yamamoto, Martin Margiela, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Comme Des Garcons and many others available both inside the store and on the shopping website.

An essential element for IF furniture is the care for details. Inside the store is very spacious and bright. On long iron tables it is possible to find a wide selection of accessories and antique objects, such as a sewing machine. Even the black leather chairs give a classic touch to the store. In addition, Shoes and handbags are placed on iron cubes in the middle of the room.
