Alice + Olivia celebrates New York’s resilience and creative energy

Launched in 2002, Alice + Olivia was founded by former Penn classmates Stacey Bendet and Rebecca Matchett.

The line is named after the first names of the pair’s mothers. Bendet, in 2003, split from Matchett and picked up Theory founder Andrew Rosen as chief financial partner. Alice + Olivia is a brand that allows women to express their personal style.

The brand was born from Stacey’s personal quest to create the perfect pair of pants, and has since grown into a full lifestyle collection including ready-to-wear, gowns, shoes, handbags, accessories and eyewear and it is currently sold in more than 800 stores worldwide.
