Yuketen history dates back in 1985, when Yuki Matsuda starts his work and travel in the States, searching and looking for original and traditional shoes belonging to traditional american culture: the ones of workers, goldminers, farmers, hickers, united to the ones of native american.

The research of Yuki is not only focused on product but also to the ones, artisanal experts hands, able to produce such jewels. This are persons who can help Yuki, to increse his knowledge, and also to help him in a more practical way. The result of such research and medititations, are products that are able to connect 2 different cultures, that can be easily seen in the result, but that can stand in a perfect harmony creating timeless pieces. Some details are unique, as the so called ‘crepe sole’ wich is made of soft, irregular 100% natural rubber and needs about 4 hours for being stiched to the shoe. About the price?
