Italian designers Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, combining their vastly different aesthetics, launched their own line, The Attico, in February 2016.

The Attico, the Italian word for "penthouse", is a collection of standout pieces inspired by the classic night gown but designed to be showed off.

Dripping with artisanal detail, each piece embodies a woman from a different city.

With its rich color patterns, lavish materials and ornate embroideries, Attico is reinventing the very idea of opulence, and with it, the idea of the robe.

Plunging necklines and side slits up to the waist make an antiquated concept contemporary.
