Marine Serre, young French designer, after attending the Cambre Mode in Brussels, which allowed her to learn about the fashion industry and work as an intern at McQueen, Margiela, Dior and Balenciaga, with a single show manages to generate great interest in the world of fashion.
Launches her first collection in 2017, designed in the fifth year of studies, entitled "Radical call for love FW17" in response to the post - attack political climate in Paris and Brussels.
Always a unique and avant-garde style accompanies her: created thanks to the garments she stole from his mother's, father's and grandmother's wardrobe, or spent the afternoons looking for unique pieces in vintage shops. The looks proposed in her collection immediately highlight her strong personality, a precise aesthetic: a brand that mixes hybrid and high fashion forms, savoir-faire fabrics and sportswear, with an eco-futuristic vision, against a background of cultural references and epochal. In Marine Serre's imagination, the symbol of the crescent moon materializes, decorating the bands, bodysuits, long sleeves and even the booties, becoming the real logo of the brand.
A year later she had to register his brand in order to sell his clothes, the collection was selected as a finalist for several prizes, making Marine Serre win the prestigious LVMH Prize.
During her shows parade fully street garments such as biking shorts and wrap around sunglasses revisited in a futuristic key: su bodysuit (which also covers the face) and top, next to the half moon, the inscription FutureWear makes its entry. Utilitarianism and high fashion are mixed together like the fabrics it manages to combine together, lycra, silk, velvet, denim, plastic and leather.
The designer has opened four lines: green for her eco-futuristic line for the environmental impact of the industry by translating the clothes made by sewing together recycled scarves, to minimize waste. Red for the haute couture workshop, white for the main brand designs and gold for the most extravagant and experimental collection.
