Fay was born in the United States in 1960 as a small house dedicated to technical clothing but was acquired in the early 80s by Diego and Andrea Della Valle who, inspired by the jackets worn by firefighters in Maine, made it a brand of urban garments.

 

The work jackets of fishermen and firefighters are transformed into city jackets, marked by the iconic four Fay hooks, which will soon become the brand’s flagship items. Fay is also worldwide recognized for the creation of another type of outerwear: coats. The Double Coat represents the fusion between elegance and functionality and is characterized by a removable gilet that guarantees the possibility of use in different climatic situations. The Virginia Coat, on the other hand, is a timeless coat with a typical three-hook closure and a feminine and refined silhouette.
