Ugg platform: the 2000’s revival with a touch of style
The UGG Boots were designed by an Australian surfer with the idea of satisfying the need to keep your feet warm after surfing in the cold Australian waters and it didn’t take much for us to appreciate the idea.
In the 2000s they had their moment of glory, every celebrity had at least a couple.
From the 2000s to today, Ugg has always been a season trend and this year is also proposed with a triple sole.
Let’s discover together the news, the trends of the moment and be inspired by the combo outfits of celeb.
Ugg’s first new product is the Dipper boot, with a particular neoprene upper contrasting with the suede, the characteristic season platform and a convenient zipper.
From the comfy-chic vibes, they inspired a new outift combo, Ugg + knit skirt, now become a trend among. We see it worn by Emily Ratajkowski. The model has combined the Dipper with a flared skirt in red knit low rise creating the perfect style combo.

The classic mini or ultra mini version is revisited, too, by the triple sole.
If in the 2000s, fashion advised a skinny jeans, this year it recommends a nice wide denim, a flared pants or a maxi jumpsuit, perfect for highlighting the triple platform.
For a more refined look, they can be combined with shorts or mini skirts and, for an extra touch, with leg warmers.

Finally, the most viral model of this last period are the UGG Tazz.
A real slipper with a thick sole and a neckline that leaves the ankle uncovered, finished with a contrasting crochet.
They are proposed in the classic camel, black but also in colored variants, fluorescent or in collaboration with OC.

In fact, to celebrate the 20th anniversary, the brand decided to collaborate with the founders of Opening Ceremony, a fashion brand founded in 2002 by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, creating a revisitation of the famous Tasman slipper.
As a result, UGG X OC TASMAN was created, which has a glossy maxi buckle, a 5 cm plateau, and shearling lining.
Blake Lively wears them for a simple walk, and they are comfortable and chic in a look that is easy to recreate for those who love practical but stylish looks.
