A revolutionary collaboration between Axiom Space, leader of the space sector and the fashion house Prada, together give life to the new suits for the lunar mission Artemis III.

The mission, scheduled for 2025, will be the first manned moon landing in 50 years but will also be the first to bring a woman aboard.

Michael Suffredini, CEO of Axiom Space said:«Prada’s know-how in raw materials, manufacturing techniques and design will allow us to apply advanced technologies to ensure astronauts' comfort on the lunar surface, taking into account also those human factors so necessary as they are still absent in traditional space suits». Thanks to these new technologies and innovative design it will be possible to expand the range of lunar explorations like never before.

The suit is developed for NASA as part of the Exploration Extravehicular Activity Services program, the American agency will purchase the suits for the Artemis missions and for the International Space Station.
