Black By Popular Demand is the title of the OFF WHITE Fall/Winter 2024/2025 show

Black By Popular Demand is the title of the OFF WHITE Fall/Winter 2024/2025 show

The historic venue of the Parisian fashion shows, the Carrousel du Louvre, turns into a board game. Two huge shiny dice become the protagonists of the scene and are reproduced on the prints of the collections.

Apple green is one of the key colors of African culture, it represents the richness of the earth. Here we see it combined with black, electric blue, denim but also olive green and brown. Through these contrasts, green is enhanced by chromatic differences and becomes a catalyst of intense energy.

To dominate the catwalk, some faces known as:  Precious Lee, Ajok Daing and Jourdan Dunn. With them the sense of inclusion is determined, not only with regard to cultural differences but also to bodies.

'Moving from one country to another, even for brief moments, is a continuous discovery of affinity: I can connect the dots between cultures and worlds that, on paper, are miles and miles away,' says the creative director.

In the wake of this thought, the cultures and worlds of which Kamara speaks are clearly represented by biker coats and jackets, short jackets with carabiners in contradiction with trimmings and beads that embellish clothes adherent to red and yellow elastic bands, nuts and butterflies are used as details of the looks and prints everything blends perfectly with the iconic motifs of the brand. The word 'ASK LEGAL' is a response to freedom of expression with the aim of challenging social conventions.
