Pierpaolo Piccioli joined the Valentino family 25 years ago, in the last 8 years he has held the role of creative director. His contribution within the fashion house marked an important chapter for the brand. 'With his vision, his commitment and his creativity has led the house to represent what it is today', says CEO Jacopo Venturini.

The designer gave his farewell through his Instagram profile writing: «I was in this company for 25 years, and for 25 years I existed and I lived with the people who with me have woven the plots of these beautiful story that is mine and ours. Everything existed and exists thanks to the people I met, with whom I worked, with whom I shared dreams and created beauty, with whom I built something that belongs to all, and that remains immutable and tangible. This patrimony of love, of dreams, of beauty and of humanity, I carry it with me, today and forever».

The company said that the new creative direction of the maison will be communicated shortly.
