She has boasted collaborations with major brands such as Coach, Magnum and Mac and has also signed a collaboration with H&M in 2022.

Passionate about fashion since early childhood, she was said to have a two-story walk-in closet in her Park Avenue apartment, in which she collected clothes from all the greatest designers of the twenty-first century.

Collection in which her MET also took an interest in her, dedicating a retrospective to her in 2005.

She had a Barbie named after her, and was hired as a fashion professor for the University of Austin, Texas, even though she actually had no qualifications to do so.

Her second book “Colorful” is scheduled for August 2024, after the biography “Iris Apfel: icon by accident.”
