Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, the brand's designers, are not new to the synergy between fashion and technology; just think of Bella Hadid's 2022 spray dress or the drone dogs on the runway that interacted with the models. This time they are exceeding all expectations, reinventing the classic swipe bag in aerogel, a material committed by Nasa to capture stardust. 

Developed in collaboration with Ionnis Michaloudis, a professor of visual arts, the bag, despite weighing only 33 grams, can withstand extremely high levels of temperature and pressure, and is currently the largest aerogel object ever made.

First in glass and then with a built-in CD player, the Swipe Bag is constantly being reinvented, but no item had ever reached such a high level of innovation. 

The new bag was revealed on Instagram a few hours before the fashion show, and it went viral in a few minutes, which makes us reflect on the fact that the brand now focuses more on social hype than on the actual functionality of the object, which in this case is very small, being purely decorative. 

The price has not yet been leaked, but if we think about last year's 40,000 euro meteorite model, we can imagine that the figure will not be so modest. 

Nevertheless, it will surely be sold out within no time.
