Louis Vuitton is a French company founded in Paris in 1854; is specialized in fashion apparel for men and women, in the products of beauty, but especially in the leather industry. It is part of the luxury goods company Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA (LVMH).
His founder, entrepreneur and designer was Mr. Lavans-sur-Valouse who founded the famous brand working as an apprentice in a suitcase factory. In 1885, Vuitton opens his first sales outlet in London at Oxford Street.
In 1997 he began his collaboration with designer Marc Jacobs, who became the new artistic director of the company, who elaborates a new collection called "prêt-à-porter" for both man and woman. This collaboration ends in 2013 when the new art director Nicolas Ghesquiere is elected.
The latest collaboration in 2017 is that with Supreme NYC with which it has created from sweatshirts to backpacks, shoes and chaplains.
Louis Vuitton also works with popular faces for his collaborations and publicity, such as Kate Moss, Madonna, Uma Thurman, Naomi Campbell and many more.
The company has around 300 monobrand fashion stores around the world, while in Paris there are stores at 101, Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 23 Place Vendôme, 170 boulevard Saint-Germain, 22 avenue Montaigne and 64 boulevard Haussmann.
It also has single-corner inside famous shopping malls such as Le Bon Marchè and Galeries Lafayette.
